Spent Paintball hosts Mike & Rocky Clinic
Right after PSP Mid-Atlantic Open, Mike Paxson and Rocky Cagnoni made their way to West Palm Beach, Florida, for a PaintballSchool.com clinic from May 9th to the 10th. Even in the heat of Florida, dedicated players still showed up to learn and have fun.
Owner, Mike Ivancevic, has owned his own paintball store for almost 6 years. He added the field to the business back in February of 2008. Spent Paintball is located on Congress Avenue, next to the Trump International Golf Course. Ivancevic started his paintball business during his Chicago Aftershock, but even before Spent Paintball was born, he was selling paintball t-shirts during his time with pro team Strange.
On the 5-acre premises of Spent Paintball, Ivancevic has one of the best turfed tournament field equipped with X-Ball bunkers. Located next door to that is a speedball field, a rec player favorite. A tented staging area is only steps away from the field, which is a must when playing in the Florida sun.
Mike and Rocky arrived early in the morning to start playing by 930AM and it was non-stop until 3PM arrived. Attendees not only received professional instruction from two of paintball’s best, but Rocky also hosted a gun -tech class. Each participant also had a chance to win Pinokio hoppers, Kohn Sports Laser Engraving, and DYE/Proto and Ironmen merchandise. The grand prize drawing was a Proto UL SLG.
There’s one more day to go in the clinic, and in tomorrow’s report, we’ll give you some tips from the clinic and give you some things to be aware of when playing paintball in the summer heat. If you’re interested in attending the final day of the clinic, you still have a chance. Just show up to Spent Paintball in West Palm Beach, Florida, by 8AM to start playing by 9AM. It’s just $90 to participate and includes a case of paint. If you can’t make it this time, check out the future PaintballSchool.com clinics and see if those work within your schedule.
