This was my 3rd year at Malaga Spain for the first Millennium event of 2010. This event is really cool, its one of my favorites. They have it set up on the beach like Huntington. Unfortunately, this event was canceled due to mother nature. It dumped rain the entire week, but even more then that, there was a volcano that didn’t want us to play paintball. In Iceland a massive volcano erupted with enormous amounts of ash spreading all around Europe. Due to this volcanic ash more then half the teams were unable to make it to the event. I played with Lisbon Benfica in the CPL, we just earned a pro spot. We played one preliminary game against Syndicate and won 5-2. That was the only game we got to play, and many teams didn’t even play one game. To top it off, I almost didn’t make it home. I was scheduled to have a layover in Paris, but the Paris airport was shut down for who knows how long. 40 hours and $2,700 later, I’m finally back home in San Diego and its never felt so good.

The Peruvian Paintball Circuit started off it’s national championship series in Arequipa, Peru this past weekend. 10+ teams showed up ready to battle and they did very competitively with lots of aggressive breaks showing the world they know how to play. Dye sponsored team Inka Killers finished third in the tournament.
