Report on the Second stage of the CBP ‘Sao Paulo”
Friday, September 2nd, 2011
On the 20th and 21st August the 2nd stage of CBP was held in in Mega Play Morumbi in Sao Paulo.
The weather provided us with a cold and damp weekend, but the guys held their own through the 179
games that were played in two days of the event among the 31 participating teams.
The Amateur category, with 23 teams was divided into two days for the qualifying rounds. The Pro
category games were split between Saturday and Sunday, seven games each day. Despite the rain and
cold, the event was a success.
During the ceremony, Rodrigo Fukuoka, owner of Mega Play and organizer of the event was a tribute
to Betão, a good guy who always supported the sport through his son Xalo Almeida, who our
heartfelt feelings go out to for his loss.
