Minor League Paintball held their first event of the season, the Chattanooga Classic on February 18-19th. Teams from all over the Southeast came to Insane Paintball in Chattanooga, TN to compete in what was a great start to the 2012 season. In the end, Aftershock took first place in Division 4 taking home $500 in cash and some sweet Dye gear and in D3 Adrenaline Army came out on top winning $1000 cash and Dye hoodies.
Minor League Paintball is dedicated to growing the sport. By offering D5 Race-to 2, D4 Race-to 3 and D3 Race-to 4 we provide teams a way to progress through the ranks and gain the experience necessary to play at the National level.
Max’d Kidz placed FIRST in Division 2. We picked up our REFLEXES on Friday night – took them out of the box Saturday morning – and won the event with them this weekend!
Clint’s Wrap up of the Super 5′s at Ambush Paintball in Southampton, UK
I started off the year with a very cold day at Ambush Paintball in Southampton, home of the Super 5′s 5man series, to play my first event of the year. I had arranged to play with two teams – Team Scratch and Johns Allstars, one in D1 and one in D2, but I was also offering to help out any of the other teams at the event.
When I arrived at the field, I was greeted by Kitch, the Super5′s organizer, who told me I had a busy day ahead. It turns out I was to play at least one game with every team at the event. I finished up playing in 20 out of the 30 games scheduled!
It was a great day, despite the mud and cold, and I was able to help both of my main teams to first place in their divisions. There is a great group of teams at the Super5′s, and I look forward to heading back throughout the season.
