Kuwana Open event in Japan

Wednesday, June 27th, 2012

We would like to thank the teams that participated and cooperated with us to make the Kuwana Open go very smoothly which took place on June 10th . We are very happy to use DYE CG as our official tournament paintball.

The weather conditions were great, which everyone was happy about because it was a great day to play paintball. There was a big buzz going around as the news that DYE had sponsored the event as well as providing us CG paint.  This gave the players the excitement of shooting one of the worlds greatest paint.

Out of the 41 games that took place, there were lots of intense games and can clearly see that every team has improved. We are hopeful that paintball can gain some recognition as a sport in the country, so both the number of teams and players can increase.

We hope to see all the teams that participated at the next event, and are also hopeful of seeing new teams at the next event at Iwata, Shizuoka in September!

Lastly we would like to give our utmost thanks to DYE precision for their continuous support to us here in Japan.

Event Result :

Dynamix win the Pink Open 2012 with Dye CG paintballs!!

Dynamix from South Africa are one of Dye’s flagship teams and have been on a winning streak this year by shooting Dye CG paintballs through their DM12′s! The team took first place at the first 2 events in the GPPL series and recently won the Pink Open. Craig Marley from Dynamix gave us a run down from the event:

Pink Open was another great event hosted by Blades and Trigger in Boksburg, South Africa. These guys really know how to host an event, giving away R30 000 in prize money, the biggest cash prize ever in South African paintball history.

We had a bit of a rocky start to the morning, as no one had played the field and we were still seeing which field plans worked and which did not, but we picked it up straight after the first game and then Dynamix basically dominated the rest of the day only dropping 3 points in total all day. We met fellow Dye sponsored team, Lordz in the final and started off very strong winning 3 consecutive points, we dropped 1 point to them but then came back to close the game off with a 5-1 win thanks to the help of DYE CG paint which shot great the whole event.

All in all it was an awesome day for paintball and a fun event with a lot of great teams taking part. We would like to say a big thank you to DYE for the amazing gear that never lets you down, Blades and Triggers for everything they do for us and thanks to the Smuts family. Also thanks to all our supporters for never letting us down and for always being willing to help.

Dates For The RPL – South Africa Series

Tuesday, June 26th, 2012

The popular RPL series in the USA was brought over to South Africa in 2009 with the vision of growing paintball in South Africa by offering players regular, well organized tournaments that new teams could afford. The RPL is affiliated to the PSP and all players for the series are registered through the impressive APPA system which allows their team to be ranked globally. Dye authorized techs, Troy Nagel and Philip Uys will be on hand at all the SARPL events this year to offer tech support for all Dye and Proto markers, and to answer any questions that players have about the Dye product line.

TPOC 2012 leg, report from Infernal

Tuesday, June 26th, 2012

TPOC or Thailand Paintball Official Circuit started in 2010, its aim is to improve the standard of paintball tournaments and paintballers in Thailand, Infernal has been a part of this tournament from the start. TPOC 2012 leg 2 was at CAT paintball Pattaya, June 16-17. There are two divisions, D1 race to 3 and D2 race to 2.

The games for division one started in the afternoon. We had no problem with the first game against Tylinol as the score ended at 3-0. The second game was with Expendible which consisted of players from demons, CMX and Xtioneer. The team is formed with players from many teams, their game plan seemed a little sloppy. We won that game 3-0 and that was the first day for us. As the first day ended our Pattaya night life started.

The second day we started early in the morning. We encountered a few hiccups against Macdev hellbourn as we had a lot of 1-4-1 but still, we managed to end it with the score of 3-2 moving on to semi final against Expendible. They figured out our game plan early and we still had problems with 1-4-1′s. It was not an easy match but the score ended in our favor at 3-2. Macdev Hellbourn moved on to the final as well after a match against Tylinol, where Tylinol pushed the towel buzzer by accident at the last point. Macdev hellbourn have a lot of young players who are hungry for a win and they all have been to an Infernal clinic as well. We decided that changing of game plan would let us win easily, so that’s what we did and we beat them 3-1. Throughout the tournament we were very confident with our equipment as our DM12s were working absolutely brilliant.

I like to take this opportunity to thanks our sponsors pro paintball for paint, Dye for the great gear and Cat paintball Pattaya.
