My-NPL 2013 – 3rd Leg

photos by: KINGANGIMAGES

What can we say other than it was an awesome weekend! We are so overjoyed, we did our job well securing Gold in this 3rd leg of MY-NPL 2013. With this win we are ranked 1st at the Overall title in MY-NPL 2013. Champion for the second time is something that we can never do without the support and help from side line assisting us as crew. We hold extreme gratitude to all of them.

We fought hard indeed and around of applause to all opponents for the great games played as it were truly a good fight.

Once again, we humbly dedicate this win to all that has been standing behind us and supporting us, especially 89 Arena and DYE PAINTBALL. Without your support, we wouldn’t have been able to get this far. We, Team DuckSide, stay humble as we can and hope we have not offended anyone in our game. Even if we do, please forgive us as we do not have any ill intention as we may be under pressure and over focus to achieve a win. In the game, we may be opponent, but out of the field, any paintballers are buddies with the same passion and yes, we surely do like the Dye CG paint :)

Until then… keep paintballing and play safe, barrel socks on for now … cheers !! ~ Team Duckside

Operation: Honey Badger

PRZ Paintball – Ontario Canada

by Andrew “WOLF” Critchlow

On the 21st of July I was lucky enough to attend the Awesome game entitled “Operation Honey Badger 2: The Return of Acinaces Dente” . What makes this paintball event special is that its a Magazine fed/Tac Cap ONLY game, which means you’re only allowed a limited amount of paintballs on the field.

Adam Collyer and his son Brandon were the creators of this Great event, and I thank them for such an Eye opening experience. As the Owner of a DYE DAM this was a dream come true, the opportunity to shoot with some of the Best paintballs around, using just magazines. 200 of some of the most tactical players I have encountered amassed at PRZ paintball, a massive indoor/outdoor facility that is an abandoned Hospital transformed into a Paintball dream, numerous 2 and 3 storied buildings, utilized for the most extreme sport.

A Mag fed game means you have to choose each and every shot, no spraying and praying, no painting targets trying to get a lucky hit. There were 3 snipers allowed on the rooftops using First strike rounds, Tactical lights for the dark hallway battles, and laser sights for spotting the enemy.

The game was a tactical dream, radios were used to coordinate attacks, and accomplish missions, smoke grenades were allowed outside to cover shooters from sniper fire, and a lot of amazing props were used to enhance the atmosphere, Missiles, Radar stations, and bio weapons made for an Epic experience.

I had the Honor to meet many players, and giveaway some cool DYE Gear, and I can’t wait to do it again Next Year!!!

Dye Teams Take Over EPPL in Ecuador

Thursday, July 25th, 2013

photos by: 100% Paintball

Last weekend was the second event of the Ecuadorian Professional Paintball League (EPPL) and it was held in the city of Cuenca. Being held in the middle of summer and many people on holiday, this EPPL event was relatively small compared to other events this year. But the quantity didn’t matter, the quality did, the games were as fierce as paintball could get. Really aggressive games, great points and plays.

The event was covered by 100%paintball who caught all the action. 100% paintball has quickly become the number One tournament coverage company in South America. They already cover, and report the biggest and best events in Venezuela, Colombia , and now Ecuador.

DYE was present on the event as always with the spectacular DYE booth offering all the latest DYE products and the best paint in the Market. The Dye Paint truck was full of people unloading paint one after another.

DYE teams Dominated the event in almost every Division.

Zurikatas, Ecuador, one of DYE’s flagship sponsored teams, helped take the completion to a new level. They won the D2 championship and Zurikatas Silver took second in D3. Another DYE flagship team, Evolution, Ecuador took 3 teams to the event and also had an amazing showing. Evolution in D2, Evolution Kids in D3 and Evolution Paintball School in D5.

Evo School and the Evo Kids took home the championships undefeated in D3 and D5, and Evolution took a second place in D2 against the unstoppable Team Zurikatas. All the DYE teams that took over the awards podium were eager to thank DYE for their continued great support, amazing paint, and their great shooting DMs.

Congratulations to all the teams that made the EPPL Cuenca such a success.

The EPPL’s next Event is the Guayaquil Open in September. If you love to travel and play paintball don’t miss this event.
