HULK Paintball Team Gearing up for 2013 with new HULK Arena and more Charity

Thursday, January 3rd, 2013

With so many dedicated players in the HULK Paintball organization, these Ukranians realized the ability they have to not only set themselves up for a great 2013 season of paintball, but also to give back to their community.

HULK boasts over 40 players that practice and compete both in Ukraine and around the world.  Now, in 2013, captain Yaroslav Yanushevich is proud to announce that “HULK Arena” is officially open.  That’s right, these guys have their own private training facility, complete with brand new turf, a Ukraine-approved heating system, and, sure, why not… a giant mural of the team in the backdrop.

Not only are Team HULK upgrading their practice facility, but they are also upgrading their organization as a whole.  HULK has delegated members of the team to hold important positions in the hierarchy that is HULK Paintball.  The hard-working members received their new roles with honor this past December.

Despite all of the upgrades to the HULK Paintball Team, the always selfless Ukrainian ballers from Eastern Europe made it a point to give back on New Years Day, 2013.

“Today, our team continues to supporting children that need our help” mentioned the team.  ”On New Years we visited a place where we were awaited and welcome, ‘City of Happy Children’ children’s center.

The kids were happy to get their presents, but besides tradiditional Christmas Toys, HULK presented the children with a variety of sports equipment.  Now the kids have enough badminton rackets, balls, ropes, and other sporting equipment to last them a long time.”

Dye Teams & Stores Helping Children Across the Globe

Wednesday, December 26th, 2012

Today we are proud to report on two extremely thoughtful stories sent to us from one of our newest Dye Sponsored teams in Ukraine, HULK, and one of our oldest South American retail outlets, Fast Ducks of Colombia.

First let’s travel to Ukraine, where HULK donated more than just a fashion show to a room full of underprivileged children in their region.  A big screen TV for the children to all share, gift bags for everyone, and the best present of all… an invitation to play paintball with HULK in the spring!  You’d think the TV was what would get the children excited, but according to HULK’s captain Yaroslav Yanushevich, the announcement of their upcoming paintball adventure got the kids all clapping their hands and jumping with excitement.

A few gifts and a paintball invitation was all it took to make this years holiday season extra special for a lucky few.  HULK put on this event out of their own pockets, but to them it was no sweat… they were happy to do it out of the kindness of their hearts.

Now we travel way South to Bogota, Colombia, where Fast Ducks Paintball put on a Toy Drive for some underprivileged kids in their area.  Dye’s own Billy Wing personally made the trip down to Colombia to hand deliver some toys for this great cause, and from all of the pictures they’ve sent us we can tell it was a major success!

Dye is extremely proud when individuals, teams, stores or anyone in the paintball industry takes it upon themselves to give hope to those who are less fortunate and to make their holidays a little brighter.

DYE PAINTBALL AND TEAM IRONMEN SIGN MARCELLO MARGOTT

Thursday, December 13th, 2012

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:

San Diego, California (December 13th 2012)

DYE is proud to announce that Marcello Margott, PSP World Champion, former Ironmen player and PBA’s 2012 #2 ranked player in the world, has returned to his roots by signing a multi-year contract with Dye and their flagship team, the Los Angeles Ironmen.

Living just minutes away from Dye’s corporate Headquarters in San Diego, Marcello has been a part of the DYE family since he was 11 years old and just starting his paintball career. At the age of 17, Marcello made his pro debut with the Ironmen, winning two back-to-back championships in 2007 and 2008. It’s fitting he makes his return to the team while he is at the top of his game. Marcello is a born winner and a stand out professional who is prepared to put in the work it’s going to take to bring the Ironmen back to the top of the PSP.

“We are excited about Marcello’s return to the Ironmen and the Dye family. I’ve known Marcello since he was a kid and a rookie on the pro scene. Over the years I’ve seen him grow into one of the top players in the game and mature as a person to be a leader on and off the field. He is a natural fit for Dye and the Ironmen.” –Mikko Huttunen, Vice President Dye Precision, retired Ironmen All-Star

“Home is where the heart is… I’ve traveled around with a few different teams for the past four seasons and it feels great to land back with Dye. There’s no reason for the Ironmen not to be a championship level team this year.” – Marcello Margott
