Riding to another Big Win in Wasaga

The Tactical Ironmen are 7-0 on the season. The only bad thing about being undefeated is that at each event the pressure keeps building, it easy to get to the top but staying there is the hard part, actually not that hard when your armed with a DAM.
This weekend I joined fellow Tactical Ironman and motivational phenom The Wolf. Our mission was to lead the Human Team “the blue squad ” to victory over the Alien Invasion at Canada’s premier scenario game held at Wasaga Beach Paintball. Close to 2,000 players showed up for the one day battle.
The Wolf and I had our hands full with the deck staked against us. The alien team was ready to rumble with the Canadian powerhouse team the Norther Gunman leading the charge. Wasaga Beach is a amazing event with the staff and refs doing a superb job keeping the fields pristine and the play fair.
Points were changing hands all day with the Aliens holding a lead most of the day, but we all know that the Ironmen are not going out like that. At one point early in the day I found myself in a very precarious situation, like I usually do. I had gotten way too far up the field leading a charge and was alone against about 70 angry Canadians. As my bunker was getting pounded about as hard as my heart was beating I heard a loud thump, guessing it was the first guy coming to bunker me I spun quick only to see another DYE Camo clad blue warrior joining me in my bunker. Not only was I surprised someone else had the balls to enter the battle with unthinkable odds but I was even more surprised to learn my teammate was only 12 years old. Together with our DAM firepower we started to destroy the enemy force.
This seemed to be the theme for the day, Thomas aka the Shadow followed me through every charge, crawl, and firefight. We gave it out and without a question we got it back too. When the smoke settled and the points were tallied the Ironmen and Humans reined supreme!
The Wasaga Beach crew did a amazing job as young and old stayed for the awards ceremonies. DYE graciously donated a ton of prizes, Wolf awarded the oldest combatant at 65 a brand new pair of i4s. But the real winner of the day was Thomas the Shadow who earned his Ironmen patch in front of the cheering crowd. The Shadow is now part of the Tactical Ironmen.
I wanted to thank everyone at Wasaga Beach paintball especially Christine and Larry for putting together a great event. I can’t wait for next year!
Make sure you check out all the video footage from this amazing event. 7-0 and still undefeated I think the numbers speak for themselves if your not on the DYE Tactical side, you’re probably on the losing side. World DAMination!
