December 13-15 was the fourth and last event of the 2013 Ecuadorian Professional Paintball League (EPPL) and it was held in the capital city of Quito. Being held in the middle of the mall  San Luis Shoppin, this was good to have a great attendance from public, this EPPL event had double importance because it will decide the overall rankings in all  of the divisions. 30 teams register, we had a showdown, the games were as fierce as paintball could get.  Really aggressive games, great points and plays.

The event begun Thursday with a press meeting and meet and greet with Marcello Margot, Oliver Lang and the South American Dream Team.  The Dream Team continue the pursuit of their dream to become the first Latin America PRO TEAM. DYE was present on the event as always with the spectacular DYE booth offering all the 2014  DYE products and the best paint in the Market. Zurikatas, one of  DYE’s flagship sponsored teams in Ecuador, were on fire and went undefeated  directly to  the finals. and were waiting for the winner between the other DYE ‘s Sponsor team Evolution and  the Latin AmericanDream Team. Like all the finals this year in the top division was between both DYE teams, Zurikatas took this final with a score 4- 0 against Evolution. Zurikatas also won the Series and overall 2013 Championship .

Division 3 had a similar outcome, with Zurikatas Silver going undefeated directly to the finals, In the finals Zurikatas Silver matched up against Inka Killers, from Lima Peru (also a DYE team). In the final the local team Zuriktas Silver won 4-0 and with that took the championship and also the series and overall Championship 2013.

Division 5 had more DYE teams on the podium, Evolution PB School took first place.  Third place was taken by local team APF. Third place was enough to give APF the series and overall 2013 D5 championship in their first year.

Last weekend was the second event of the Ecuadorian Professional Paintball League (EPPL) and it was held in the city of Cuenca. Being held in the middle of summer and many people on holiday, this EPPL event was relatively small compared to other events this year. But the quantity didn’t matter, the quality did, the games were as fierce as paintball could get. Really aggressive games, great points and plays.

The event was covered by 100%paintball who caught all the action. 100% paintball has quickly become the number One tournament coverage company in South America. They already cover, and report the biggest and best events in Venezuela, Colombia , and now Ecuador.

Dye Teams Dominate EPPL Salinas Open – Evolution Wins

Tuesday, March 19th, 2013

The first event of the Ecuadorian Professional Paintball League, right on the beach in Salinas City, was dominated by the DYE family of teams.

D2

1st Evolution (DYE Team)

2nd Zurikatas (DYE Team)

D3

1st Zurisilver (DYE Team)

2nd Evolution Kids (DYE Team)

Here’s a report from the event written by DYE’s own Juan Daniel Nebel Romero:

“Our first two games on Friday were against Evolution Jr who we beat 4-0, then we faced Manta Marines who we managed to beat 4-2. On Saturday we played against Monosalvaje and beated them 4-0 and finally against Kboom from Venezuela and also beat them 4-2.

We made it to Sunday, but we soon discovered that we would be playing against the other DYE Team from Ecuador in the finals, Zurikatas from Quito. After an incredible game, we beated them 4-1 and got the first win of the year.

We would like to thank DYE for the support at the event. The DYE Ecuador booth was amazing and the tech service was on point. Also thanks to DYE for the amazing paint, it was by far the best paint there and between that and the DM13, we were making G’s off the break in high numbers.
